SOFTWOOD VENEER
Our state-of-the-art veneer mill in Yreka, California, produces
Douglas fir, white fir, and spruce veneer, which are machined
to the tightest tolerances, making it the perfect substrate for
any species of hardwood veneer. Our softwood veneer
allows us to produce the highest-quality hardwood plywood
panels available anywhere.
All products manufactured at our Yreka veneer division are
authorized to carry the Sustainable Forestry Initiative®
program label. This facility utilizes wood from our
SFI-certified forestlands. Secondary manufacturers who use our
certified products can also apply to use the SFI Participating
Manufacturer logo on their products.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) veneer is also available,
most going to make FSC mixed-credit hardwood plywood at our
Grants Pass, OR mill.
